About Open Doors
Open Doors is an international online scholarship competition organized by the Association of Global Universities with support from Russian public institutions. It gives talented international candidates a streamlined route to study at leading Russian universities.
For Bachelor and Master tracks, the competition has two main stages: portfolio and entrance testing in the first stage, followed by second-round subject tasks. This site focuses on the second round for Bachelor-level preparation.

Who can apply for the Open Doors scholarship?
These are the official Open Doors eligibility rules published by the organizers. RusPath is an independent registration and preparation service — we help you meet these requirements, but the final criteria and results are decided by the official Open Doors competition.
Master's track
Holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or in your final year of one.
Foreign citizenship
Open to international applicants, stateless persons, and compatriots living abroad — not open to Russian citizens.
No mandatory language test
Programs are offered in Russian or English. If you need it, a one-year preparatory Russian course is available and your place stays reserved.
Portfolio + entrance test
Selection is based on your portfolio and a subject-specific entrance test — not a separate university entrance exam.
Registration deadline
Registration typically closes around 1 November each year — after that, your account and portfolio are locked for that cycle.

Exam-room restrictions
- The second-round simulation requires fullscreen mode, camera, microphone, and entire-screen sharing.
- The internet check must show at least 512 KB/s before the candidate can enter the exam room.
- Mobile devices, outside communication, extra browser pages, screenshots, and page inspection are restricted inside the site.
- Three confirmed violations close and lock the current exam attempt in the browser. Brief, non-deliberate interruptions (a permission prompt, a system notification) are not counted — only sustained, real violations are.

How much does registering through RusPath cost?
It depends on how many subject areas you register for and what stage of support you need — we'll give you the exact figure on your free consultation call. What we can say up front: our fees are lower than most similar agencies and intermediaries, and there's no cost just to ask.
What if I don't win a place in the Open Doors competition?
Open Doors is a competitive, merit-based process run by the official organizers — no one can guarantee an admission outcome. What RusPath guarantees is full support and follow-through on your registration process itself: document preparation, portfolio guidance, and second-round exam practice, all the way through.
Is it safe to share my personal information and documents?
Yes. Your information and documents are used only for your registration process and are never shared with third parties without your consent.
How long does the whole process take?
After you submit your registration, an administrator typically reviews it within 24–48 hours. From there, timing depends on document checks, the official Open Doors calendar, and how quickly you complete each step — your consultation call is the best place to get a realistic timeline for your situation.
Do I need to already speak Russian?
No — Open Doors offers programs in both Russian and English, and a one-year preparatory Russian course is available if you need it, with your place reserved while you complete it.
What documents do I need to register on this site?
A personal photo, your Tazkira/ID scan, and your passport. You can also add other supporting documents (certificates, transcripts) — those are optional.
